Need to find the cheapest energy supplier for your business? SwitchPal does the hard work so you don't have to. Find out more...
Who has time to visit the websites of every supplier to check out different prices, or spend hours calling around to different companies to learn more about the various tariffs they offer? With so many other things to consider when running a company, it’s no wonder that finding a cheap business energy supplier often ends up being pushed to the bottom of your to-do list.
Luckily, there’s an easier way to compare business energy suppliers and to get electricity and gas quotes for your company. We’re here to help you get all the business energy quotes that you need from as wide a variety of suppliers as possible so you can find cheap business energy with minimal effort.
When it comes to getting energy quotes for your business, you have two main options: approaching suppliers directly or using an energy broker or comparison service.
Direct to Supplier: You can contact individual energy suppliers by phone or through their websites. This gives you direct control and allows you to ask detailed questions. However, it is time-consuming, and you will only see the prices from the suppliers you contact, making it hard to know if you’re getting the best deal on the market.
Using a Broker: A business energy broker works with a panel of suppliers to gather quotes on your behalf. This saves you the effort of contacting multiple companies and gives you a broader view of the market in one place. At SwitchPal, we provide this service to help you compare a wide range of quotes quickly and easily.

To get an accurate quote, you’ll need a recent energy bill. This contains key information like your Meter Point Administration Number (MPAN) for electricity, your Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) for gas, your current supplier, and your annual energy consumption in kilowatt-hours (kWh). Having this to hand will speed up the process.
Yes, our comparison service is free for you to use. We receive a commission from the supplier you switch to, which is included in the price of the tariff. This means you get access to our panel of deals without paying an extra fee.
Whilst the switching process itself is now faster, a business energy switch is more complex than a domestic one and typically takes 4-6 weeks to complete from the point you sign your new contract. This is because your new contract is usually set to start the day after your old one ends. The switch itself is an administrative process and your energy supply will not be interrupted.
